Could you be a Parish Councillor
Frilsham Parish Council is looking for a Councillor - could it be you?
Published: 16 June 2026
Following the resignation of Cllr. Gerald Barber, who has put in many years of service for the community of Frilsham, there is a vacancy on Frilsham Parish Council. Might this be a role which would suit you?
The Parish Council looks after the play park behind the Clubroom, St. Frideswide’s well, the grit bins, the defibrillators, the telephone box and a number of benches around the parish. In addition, any planning applications in the parish are considered and comments returned to WBC who then determine each application.
The Parish Council meets every two months on the third Monday – the next meeting is on the 20th July at 7.30pm. Do come along if you might be interested, talk to any parish councillor, or drop the Clerk an email (clerk@frilshamparish.gov.uk).
